The true challenge: Getting Channeler's Trident

Hi All!

I know I am late, but recently I picked up the first Dark Souls, after seeing a LP on YouTube and I had a blast with it. Played the first time basicly blind, and now in NG+ I am using the wiki to get every achievement.

Sadly I am currently stuck on "Knight's Honnor", as I basicly got everything together except that <bleep> Channeler's Trident! I had a 3h session with 400 Discovery and nothing. I had to quit out of pure frustration, before I would destroy my gamepad.

Has anyone any tips? Ideas? Suggestions? I am grateful for everything.

This and getting Avelyn are like cancer. When I got it on my mage, I praised the sun and called it a day. LOL

The channeler's trident is probably the most difficult part of the knights honor achievement. The best way to farm it that I've found is to use the warpable duke's archive bonfire, head up the ladder and kill the two channelers at the rotating stair case. assuming you can two shot them, you should be able to do the run in about a minute 45. That being said it still took me well over 2 hours of farming to get one with max item find. You just gotta grind it out, put on some music or something or watch a stream in the background.

Praise the sun is a message you can leave on the ground as well as being associated with solaire, who is essentially everyone's favorite character in dark souls.

btw Channelers are weak to fire, Great Combustion and Quelaag's sword always helped me when farming that thing. Makes things a little bit smoother.

It's actually a really nice weapon, and I thought it first appeared in DS 2. Oh, my surprise when I found this weapon in DS 1...in the Undead Parish. Obtained from a unrespawnable enemy. Wooo!
