No menu music?
It's been a while since I played Dark Souls 1, but I don't remember there not being any music on the main menu. Was there ever any?

Nope. Dark Souls II, III and Bloodborne have it. Dark Souls doesn't.

Another quick question: does it have an NG+ mode? If so how do you access it?

it does, you enter ng+ after killing the final boss

I see. Is there no other way of accessing it? I don't actually remember the last boss or where it asks you, but loading up my save I've clearly skipped it and saved somewhere else.

Well, don't know if is any use to it now, but Dark Souls 1 indeed have a Menu song. It is called "Souls of Fire". For some reason my new version lacks of it, but I can't forget that song from the first time I played years ago. Best solution at the moment seems to be this https://www.nexusmods.com/darksouls/mods/198

that's more of a "new game" theme rather than a menu theme
