There is a route you can take but it isn't easy to describe, really, just try to stick to the left of the island with all the ogres on, hug the wall as you go round, and try to avoid the two on the smaller island

Use armor with high poison resist, such as pyromancer starter armor or shadow garb, if you go from the depths.

Starting from the bonfire it's probably easier to stay on the right... you'll get poisend by the swamp but the big guys won't see you.

With enough endurance and the best poison resistance equipment available at that point (actually, pyromancer's starting gear, better than shadow set), you can sprint your way from the "island" Quelaana is located (closest safe spot without going the "golem route") to Queelag's Domain without getting poisoned.

If you try to hug the right wall (leaving the nearby stone column to your left) you'll get poisoned, it takes too long. Instead, from Queelanas's "safe sport", sprint a straight line between the rightmost rock golem and the stone column, then move up the hill before heading to the cave entrance. The better your poisin and endurance, the farther away from the golem you can move. Still, even if the golem spots you and starts throwing rocks, you should be safe and the golems won't enter the cave if you keep moving onward.

I assume you don't have the rusty iron ring.
I doubt you can get to Queelag without getting poisened if you don't have the ring. In this situation, I would take the route to the right and follow the wall. This way you don't get bombarded at least.
With the ring, straight on from the bonfire, follow wall to the left, cross the little "bay" as fast as possible.
