Silver Knight Set
Silver Knight set. It's relatively light. In the class of regular knight and elite knight armour. Is it any good at +5? As in worth the investment? I'd rock the whole set except for helm, switching it out for chain helm because it looks cool.

When I was n00b I ned it +5 to beat Chip&Chop, so I think its pretty good.

I'm well past that. I've been rocking Giants set but I now noticed how cool SK set looks and I want to use the Greatshield of Artorias. This set fits my weight needs with the shield and my BKGS.

Generally speaking, your Twinkling Titanite armors and boss armors cap out at less defense that the ones you upgrade with Titanite Shards, Chunks, and Slabs. But most of the Twinkling Titanite armors either look more stylish or have more poise to work with.

Full Silver Knight's set has 47 poise to the Elite Set's 46, but about 45 points less physical defense with both are fully upgraded. Silver Knight Set does beat the Elite Set's magic defense by about 10 points, though. Check the Wiki[darksouls.wikidot.com] for amor sets info. Bring Havel's Ring and Wolf Ring.

It's a medium weight set, so it's very likely that you will always mid-roll with it on. That would be one potential negative.

Positives:
- it has pretty good lightning defense. I think one of the best for a medium weight set.

- the shield is one of the best in the game.

Except Giants set, which at +5 is like the most protective piece in the whole game.
Personaly, sets that use Twinkling Titanite are usually not a bad choice because you can get them to +5 the moment you have the blacksmith in Anor Londo (give or a take a 'bit' of soul-grinding).
Meanwhile a full regular sets won't be at +10 until you've completed your first NG+ minimum (or have farmed the Darkwraiths to the brink of exctiction).
Silver Knight, Black Knight and Giant's Set have brought me through the game and several NG+ cycles pretty well.
If you're asking for PvP specifcally, there are probably people better than me to judge that area.

Not to mention you can power farm twinkling titanite right next to the Crystal Cave Bonfire.

Giant Clams give you: Twinkling Titanite(8000 souls to purchase) and/or Purging Stone's (can be fed to Frampt for 1000 souls) + 1000 souls.

So if you're upgrading TT armour and you go to CC with item of discovery at 410, for me anyway, best case I'm getting a soul value equivalent of 10,000 for upgrading TT armours. Worst case I'm getting 1000. Right next to the fire there's like six Clams and so taking down all six on average is probably netting me 6000-8000 souls equivalent per giant clam for upgrading TT type armours. To me it seems like the premier place for grinding up TT gear fast.

I grinded up a Crimson set to be my light armour boss gear at CC and it felt like I had it maxed in like 30 minutes. If more not much more.

Well, of course Giant's set. It's basically Havel's with a little less poise and more brick !@#$housing.

Anything is pretty viable in PvP as long as you can move. I'm running full Ornstein's armor + Dragonslayer Spear with a fast roll, and I'm doing fine. Getting my ass handed to me in a lot of places, but generally fine.

I use it in a cosplay build. It's perfectly viable, those two melee weapons?? OP.
