armor of artorias any good?

just a simple question I see quite a few phantoms and people in video's using his set and I was just wondering if its actualy any good or if people just wear it for the looks or something

It's pretty good for medium armor. If you're ok with mid-rolling or using Havel's Ring+40 end, then it's a well balanced set that's definitely worth using.

It's ok armor at best, for 2 more pounds you could wear the elite knight armor that gives 9 more poise and 70 more defense when both are max upgraded. You should keep in mind though that to max upgrade elite knight you need 4 slabs, so the defense difference will probably be closer to 50 in practice.
