I would assume it is a hacker. The only time you should see that message is a dev message in Oolacile township (It can be voted on so it was left by a player). I've also seen ones that use the button images utilized in the tutorial messages.

Yep, The elite knight is a dev message. All others are left by players.

no theres diffrent pictures for diffrent ratings examples:
A message with a rating of 0+ has a Undead Merchant avatar.
A rating of 100+ will change to a Solaire of Astora avatar.
A rating of 200+ will change to a Domhnall of Zena avatar.
A rating of 300+ will change to a Darkmoon Knightess avatar.
A rating of 500+ will change to a Primordial Serpent avatar.

They are normal everyday players that leave them not devs or hackers

At least look at the picture. It's floating in the air and it's a message you cannot leave. It's obviously a cheater. Also the rating - you'd never get that high with just player ratings.

Anything with 100+ rating is most certainly a cheater, not enough players to rate the message that high. Also, that is a forbidden "dev message" which can only be left by a cheater.
