Cannot get past the undead Parish

I die every time, I get caught in the crossfire up the stairs with the archers and skeleton fighters, and that thing that charges you, down below. How do you get past this part?

Did you get the shortcut with the stair to go there much faster? also, there is an even closer bonefire to there.
Anyway, you could kill the giant pig with backstabbs, or even easier stay close to the fire, and it'll go and attack you. No matter if you die, if he stais on the fire for some time he will die and won't spawn again.

Ok so you can bait some enemies to come near you by entering their aggro range before the pigs. after you kill the two there go up the stairs and make sure the spear hollow sees you. you can drag him back or confront him and push his shield with a kick. the archers should be easy after that. the pig can be taken care of by throwing the alluring skulls you get from behind the archer at the fire right next to the pillar where you got them. the pig will run at the fire and burn. If one doesnt do it, trow another or fight a weakened pig.

You don't really need to fight the pig by the way, after you take care of the soldiers you can just drop down into the staircase after him... just don't do it while there are still enemies around or you'll find yourself in an ugly spot.

go back and farmand build your levels up get some decent gear and a decent weapon upgrade it and there u go
