Are any of the resistance rings worth buying/using?

I've come across merchants selling various element/status resistance rings for around 15K souls each. I'm sure that's a pocket change in the later stages of the game, but it's quite an investment at my current stage.

A poison resist ring would be useful in Blight Town; an anti-curse ring for the Depths, which comes before that area.

Cursebite ring,which you can find in New Londo,makes the real boss fight with Seath a even bigger joke that it already is.

The resistance rings are situationally useful, but by no means a necessity for any area.

Who even needs that ring? Seath's crystals are easy to dodge and very hard to get cursed by. I've never even gotten cursed before.

The petrified statues disagree with you.
I always equip it before fighting Seath out of habit,because I always visit New Londo first. It's probably not really necessary,but I'd rather not have to run through the Crystal caverns again since that area is not very good.

Disagree with what, exactly? My wording should be better, I meant very hard to get cursed by for me. Putting that ring on is just a waste of a ring slot. I use a heavy armor build, so I usually roll with Favor and Protection and Havel's, or Favor and Protection and Stoneplate. I used to use Cursebite in the Depths on my first playthrough, life ring, and ring of the evil eye. Now, those are no use to me anymore. Also, Crystal Cave isn't that bad of an area. It's only bad if you try to get the Blue Titanite Slab. But even then, Prism Stones still exist. The clams are easy to stagger, but not so easy to dodge with an empty stamina bar.
