How to get out of depths?
My bonfire is the one right before the boss. And, well, I'd love to upgrade my weapon because it does pitiful damage and I'm cursed (No clue that was a thing), and I'd love to go to the Pardoner to get a purging stone but I can't find a way out of the depths at all. The only way it seems I can get out is Blighttown but the Gaping Dragon isnt dying until I get an upgraded weapon and full HP

from the bonfire, head down the slime hallway to the torch on the left wall.
go through the doorway next to the torch and follow the path up some stairs.
go through the door and take the left turn at the end of the hall.
to your left is a hole in the wall leading down to water. take the stairs at the other end and more stairs near the dog to reach the dining area.
even more stairs lead up to a storage-hallway thing.
then follow the rest of the stairs up and out to the lower burg.

Go to the door to Blighttown, then turn around and you'll see a wooden door you can open, keep going up those flights of stairs (all the way) till you reach the top. From there you should recognise where you are and the way out.

I recently killed the boss, and from my experience you do ♥♥♥♥ damage regardless. I had a +5 Helebard

However he's very easy to dodge so I suggest to just bring a lot patience and maybe fire up the bonefire for 10 estus.

you can buy anti-cursed item on that guy after the two garg. boss fight for only 3k souls

Also I suggest to bring a bow if you ever meet those nasty basilisks again. They have pretty little HP.

And 20 Estus are a bit too much, since you wont visit that area ever again :P

If you've made it into New Londo Ruins with Transient Curses you can make it to a vendor that sells a sorcery that raises Curse resistance. There are some armor with high curse resistance as well. The priest in the Belltwoer the gargoyles were guading also sells the Cursebite ring but all of that's really overkill. A weapon with a wide reach and being able to fast roll is usually enough to not get cursed.

You revisit it in NG+ so overkindling is actually advised. You either do it then or backtrack at the end game. It's part of the prep for NG+ before killing Gwyn. You Kindle everything to 20, forge ♥♥♥♥ as high as you can, and kill every NPC for their humanity. Then you go and kill Gwyn.

Kindling saves on each NG. So, it would come in handy.
