DSfix and other mods not working?
Hey friends, could really use some help here. I recently wanted to go through a run of Dark Souls. So I installed it on my PC (got it a while back, never installed it because the xbox version was free at that time). I knew the PC version was a pile of garbage, so I installed all the mods seen in the stickky thread. I believe I installed them correctly. I originally used nexus mod manager, but it didnt seem to work that way, so I afterwards just installed them manually and ignored NMM. Like i said, I think I installed them correctly, but it doesnt seem to be working (resolution is still crap, icons are still controller icons etc.) How can I fix this? Im willing to provide any information you guys need. Any help would be super appreciated, as I love the Souls series.

(A side note, when I try to launch Dark Souls through the DSfixUI it doesnt launch, and neither does it launch through the nexus mod manager app, doesnt even create anything in the task manager)

P.S. I am not using the Windows Live version

Did you enable tex override in either the .ini file or in Moreten242's ui for dsfix? All of the graphic mods are considered replacers and without enabling tex override they won't override what they're replacing. As far as launching it from the ui it doesn't work for me either, but with the files placed properly and tex override enabled mods work fine.

That worked! At least for the graphics etc. The mouse controls are a little wonky, maybe I should just cave and get a wired xbox controller haha. Is there any way to smooth them out?

You could try this. I don't use it, I use a controller. But it's endorsements and DLs would suggest it works well.
