Report a translation problem
Some weapons of the same type with thr same moveset just have slower or faster animation recovery instead of swinging speed. It's mostly for PvP tho, as with PvE it doesn't matter at all.
Just get a weapon you like and play with it, being fast or not.

As for speeds, the link he posted above should be accurate. Speed within weapon class is determined by a single param value that hasn't changed between versions.
