How to use a PS4 controller with this game?

I've used ds4windows for every other game (including ds3) but when I try to use it for this game the controls are messed up and the camera constantly spins. Help would be awesome.

1. Connect it with bluetooth
2. Go to: Settings>Controller>General Controller Settings (it will open up BigScreen menu)
3. Check the PS4 configuration support.

Easy as that.

The native support gets a bit wonky sometimes. I've had times when the game doesn't recognize that I have it connected, so I have to disconnect the controller, reconnect and (sometimes) reapply the controller configuration.
I've also had odd instances where I couldn't open the gesture menu, yet all other controls worked fine.

That's weird. I've never actually experienced any issue except for How To Surive 2 being unplayable because the left joystick registered as a mouse.
