How To Kill Ghosts?
Well I have played a little bit this game and I went somewhere after Firelink Shrine and there was like coast or ship I don't remember there was a narrow corridor and there were some monsters and they were looking like ghosts and they were immune to the damage. How to kill them and what were exactly them?

If you play the game normally, There is an Urn right at the start of New Londo, if you smash it a corpse falls out of it and it has an item on it which is the "Transient Curse" You put that item on your item list were your Estusflask is as well. The important part is the "Transient Curse" Item last only a certain amount of time. So it is helpful to have it on your action bar to look at.

If the item is greyed out it means the effect is still on you, if the item is well lit you need to reaply it. But beware the items are rather rare so you need to be on your toes through that section of the game. the Ghost will sometimes drop Curses as well.

New Londo is a rather high lvl area if you just started the game i would advise to seek other adventures first. Not gonna tell you were to go but New Londo might be the wrong start.

Hope this helps good luck!

You can also buy this item (Transient Curse) from a female Undead-merchant. She is in a tower right next to the door to the Depths. But she charges an arm and a leg for it - 4000 souls each.

Hello there.
Curse is a gameplay mechanic in Dark Souls and Dark Souls Remastered. It is a debuff status effect and one of the auxiliary special effect and a damage type.
When the bar is filled up, you die instantly and you "revive" with a 50% HP limit, can't kindle / reverse humanity while cursed, and gain the "cursed" status, which allows you to hit ghosts. To cure the curse, you'll need to pay a fee to a NPC (there are two than can relieve curses), or use an item called Purging Stone. It is purchased at the same vendor who sells the transient curse.

You can also gain temporary curse-hood without the negative aspects by using a Transient Curse. Location has been mentioned above.

Curse weapons are a special type of weapons that can hit ghosts without being cursed or using a Transient Curse ; those include :
  • Jagged Ghost Blade
  • Ghost Blade
  • Greatsword of Artorias

However, the droprate on the curse is quite a lot on the ghosts, so you should be able to pop one and get 2-5 from loots while killing the ghosts. But, as mentioned, it is quite a high-level area, and I don't recommend starting by going here, not until you've cleared Anor Londo.

Regarding the "an arm and a leg", I don't know if you thought you really need to give up an arm or a leg, and at this point I'm too tired to decipher any 2nd degree. She just charges 4000 souls per transient curse, while you can easily farm them with the two you're given at the beginning of the area.

EDIT : few precisions regarding curse, added something at the end.

Transient Curse + 1-2 Fireboms per ghost = easy mode.

There is litteraly nothing important for early game there. Dont waste your firebombs here, instat search for other ways to continue.

Waste Firebombs? They are 50 souls each.
Its a waste not to use them early. Even Hydra gets killed easily with about 50 firebombs.

Ofc its a waste, what important early game items are reachable? None
50 souls x 50 = 2.5k
This is about 2 lvls in early game, so yes, its a waste

Important to note that while not cursed, their attacks are unblockable and you are considered to have no poise, so every attack will stagger you. This makes fighting them with a transient curse (or while cursed) infinitely preferable to the alternative of fighting them with a cursed weapon.

Its not. They drop like 200-400 Souls each and u can hit multiple Ghosts with 1 Bomb (like 3-4). Its a safe strategy.

You can reach the Trader early.

To kill the Hydra (it gives 10k souls back?) with bombs was only an advice. Dont underestimate Fire Bombs.

When your just arguing for the sake of arguing... I wont discuss this any more, its wasted time and not recommended for any new player. End.
