You can't do anything after the last boss, you start NG+ instantly. lvl 60-80 should be great for the DLC

90+ i think (pretty random number), its an End-Game DLC. Also, no you start NG+ right after killing the last boss. There is no way to avoid it, better do the DLC before that.

actually you can homeward bone out of the area after you beat gwyn, you just need a homeward bone, and dont leave the room or touch the bonfire in the center

Depends on your equipment, skill, and habits, honestly, but it's generally recommended closer to endgame.

SL 70+ is a good idea definitely, but if you have maxed out equipment, reflex and patience anytime after Anor Londo is okay.

I would say around 70-80 if it's your first time clearing the DLC. 60 if you're just running through

No, that doesnt work. If you use homeward even in the first possible second you will get a loading screen and end up right where you stand.

Let's put it this way - No matter what your SL level is, the difficulty rise in the DLC is still going to trash you all the same (especially if it's your first time)

And no, after you kill the last boss, regardless of the ending you choose, you will go into the next NG+ cycle no matter what.

Really depends on your equipment more so in NG thought more vit/stamia make a world of diffrence.

This is why you should explore every nook and cranny to grab every last little item befor fighting gwyn particularly if you dont have everthing you may want for your charcter memorized.

Keep in mind that if you want to still do mp pepople usualy stop sl around 100-125 since your near the end and are likely 50-70ish +sl.
