No, theres nothing but filthy Oolacilians there, and everyone knows that Oolacilians are the scum of the world

Seriously though, wtf kind of question is this? Should you play the games DLC? I mean you bought the game to play the game, but not sure if you want to play the DLC? Unless there is some other context here like your low level, or really suck, the answer is yes, and even if you are really low level or suck, level up a bit or git gud and then go

of course, 3 of the best bosses in the game are there

I'm already at the kiln of the first flame I just want this game to end

Then just stop playing it. Why are you making yourself play this if you don't even want to? Is this some kind of street cred? Does the opposite sex see your play time on Dark Souls and find you irresistible? Are you putting this on a job application?

It's for the bragging rights, I bet. Can't stop seeing "I beat DS, why is this game hard" threads.

"well, I skipped Oolacile on my first playthrough" - that's the ultimate no-go in any kind of job interview or audition, that's common knowledge

If you want closure quickly, no. And despite what the people above say, who clearly obviously just play Dark Souls for the hipster cred of being able to say that it was never about the bragging rights :steammocking:, that's perfectly ok and you still beat the game. Oolacile is a completely different animal from the rest of the game, and for most playstyles, you're going to have to relearn some things if you go there. Want to complete your unique first playthrough of this amazing game and get back to your life/job/family? Don't go there. Go to the kiln.

From a lore/RP perspective, you have no reason but curiosity to go to Oolacile, unless you're particularly invested in Princess Dusk and the Darkroot area in general. The chosen undead was taken to Lordran to ring the bells, claim the Lordvessel, and follow in the footsteps of Lord Gwyn (right?). Messing with the trinkets of a mad lizard and investigating weird blossoms of dark in murky backwaters? No thanks, you already smashed the lizard to pieces and snorted the dust. You already walked in the Abyss and decked the blingy royal sorceror gank squad. You already... killed a puppy and a butterfly and a bunch of plants and stuff in Darkroot. Oolacile is for the undead for whom enough is never enough.

On the other hand AotA DLC is ****ing amazing, really intense bosses especially for quickroll damage avoidance, awesome scenes and atmosphere, decent sorceries, and general special stuff. It's really good. Better than the second half of the main game.

Your decision.
