Daughters of Ash progression question *Minor Spoilers*
Just beat Taurus Demon on the bridge. The dragon CLEARLY isn't interested in letting me pass, so I'm not sure which direction to go seeing as all the doors seem locked. The only place I seem to be able to go is the bottom of the tower where Havel used to be. Is that really where I'm supposed to go? The armors and bushes down there rock my face pretty hard atm.

Yes, that does seem to be the preferred progression route - take the back road into undead parish and church.

Well, that's going to be a hell of a hike then. T-T Thanks.

You've got the bonfire before the taurus demon, right?
Where lightning resin used to be?

Cause I didn't and had to run from firelink shrine every time I died

Oh yeah I had that. I'm finding some inventive changes with this mod, but a lot of enemies feel like they have bloated health and damage compared to me, and groups of enemies follow you farther than normal. Not sure how much I'm feeling this so far.

Try to think of a blacksmith you could search for in the areas that are available to you at this point (not venturing out of the bottom of Havel's tower). By now you can probably upgrade your weapon to +3/+4 which should double your damage.

Oh it's at +3 already. Still feels a bit weighted harder against me than it needs to be. But it's hard to gauge that sort of thing when you're going for the first time.

*NPC Spoiler*

So I found what I think is the pyromancy npc, stuck in a jar around a bunch of enemies, and he bit the dust before I realized it might actually be my npc. As far as the mod is concerned does that mean I just lost a bunch of possible pyromancy spells? Or is he like a lot of npcs and his store is drastically less then it once was in base game?

All he's selling for me is fireball/orb, combustion, flash sweat and iron flesh.

I noticed that you can grab enemies attention from further away by just using DSfix, and it seems to be evident in the Remaster too. Some of the bosses are scaled a little harder, from what I've seen. The Gargoyles on the parish roof wrecked Solaire and I when i fought them the other night, which never usually happens.

I saw that bonfire but couldn't figure out how to get to it.
The door was locked even with the Master Key and the merchant didn't sell the residence key.

Did anyone figure out how to open this door?
Kharnivore2099 Jan 9, 2019 @ 7:24am
It's hidden next to some dogs, after you drop down behind some barrels as you enter the Undead burg. There is quite a well hidden doorway down there.

Oh for ♥♥♥♥ sake.
I went down there earlier and didn't even notice that chest!
I feel so stupid. xD

Don't. A lot of stuff is adjusted around so it makes trying to figure out where things are a pain in the ass. I really wish I knew where the stamina ring or havel's ring was honestly. Props to them adding a ring that gives you a ton of attunement slots and nerfs your melee damage to the ground. Makes the idea of a dedicated spellcaster a more viable idea.
