I'd hope the Solaire amiibo would have more functions outside of doing a gesture you can obtain relatively easily in-game, but if not, well I hope to see it have some functionality in other Switch games (SOLAIRE IN SMASH BROS ANYONE?!?!?! OK but really if you were to have a Dark Souls area be a Smash Bros. arena what place would you pick? I'd pick the Bed of Chaos boss arena for the build-up of increasingly deadly environmental hazards kek).

If the graphics displayed on the Switch version are what to expect for the other systems then meh, definitely passing on the PC version unless there are a bunch of other notable additions and fixes besides multiplayer. Looks exactly what the game on PC looks like with DSfix. Seems like it'll be great for console players, not as exciting for PC gamers.

Actually, here's an idea: have the Amiibo summon Solaire, but he'll go away in 5 minutes and can only be summoned once per life.
