You should play normal if you buy the game. If you just care about loer see some Youtube videos.
you always have the option to use cheats
Dont this game ban cheats? If not I'll be sure to get ti and break it sideways
Are you gonna play online anyway?
Gods no
But, that said, the game has several built-in easy modes:
- Greatshields
- Heavy armor
- Sorcery and pyromancy
- actually gitting gud
all of the above make the game so easy to the point of trivializing most of it

As others have said, there are built in easy modes already. tbh the game is supposed to be hard because the world of Dark Souls is supposed to be unforgiving and grim. It's supposed to feel like the world they built is feasible. That's actually the reason the creator stated for the game's relatively high difficulty. When you make the game easier, you create a sort of dissonance between the world and the gameplay. imo that makes the whole experience less enjoyable, but to each their own.
No.
Damn, man, did you even try the game? Trust me, people tend to exaggerate things. If you don't rush and take your time, the game is very doable.
Good tip for a beginner: use a bow to pick enemies one-by-one. You don't have to have the stats, just use it to aggro enemies to come after you so you don't have to deal with being outnumbered all the time.
Most of the difficulty of this game come from the bosses. But you can simply summon a player or an NPC (when available) to help you out.
Also, watch out for people telling you that playing a mage is easy mode. Granted, playing a mage is indeed easy mode, but only if you know what you're doing, since the best sorceries don't come that early.
