Is a 50 int/50 faith build viable?
I want to be a mage that can cast every spell in the gate
Any guides on how to make a build like that?

Why would you need a guide to make a build? Just level up until you have the stats you need.
Considering casting spells don't consume stamina, you're probably fine with the base amount. I'd say around 20 vit should be enough for HP, and then you level up attunement depending on how many slots you need. You'll end up with a very high level character in the end, that's for sure, lol

You will probably have to grind a lot of souls/levels to get 50 in both int and faith while still have enough vit, attunement and endurance.

I'd rather recommend to go either Int or Faith, but not both (it makes more sense to do both in DS2 or 3 where they changed pyromancy to scale with both and added dark category (hexes).

For PvP definitely not viable, for PvE it's not relevant as you can do what you want, it just depends how much you want to level (although when you are around lvl 100+ it gets very tedious to play for like 40 levels more just for that one stat ... I would rather play a second character instead)

/Edit: Just read, for SL120 ... better stick with one, Sorcery or Miracles.

Just wanted a character for mostly coop, which would both heal with miracles and cast sorcery

Then just get 100 levels for int + faith and dump the rest in attunement, not much choice
You'll be pretty squishy though :rbrb3:

I'm not that knowledgeable, but:
I think distributing 50/50 points to FTH and INT is a bit too much of a waste.
So i would consider pumping either to 50 and other to the desired amount depending on what spell you want to use. And choose catalyst and talisman accordingly.
For example:
-I want to use Sunlight spear, and some offensive sorceries.
-It means I need 50 Faith. I don't want to use Crystal souls spear, because it would require 44 intellect. So I settle for dark bead and dark orb (16 INT).
-I will use Darkmoon talisman, Tin Darkmoon Catalyst and Divine/Occult weapons.
Or:
-I pump up intellect for 45, use Logan's catalyst, and only pump FTH until 28 to get Wrath of the Gods and use Velka's talisman. And also have the opportunity to use Moonlight Greatsword

Use Crown of Dusk because it enhances both miracles and sorceries.

And pyromancy flame doesn't scale with either FTH or INT. It gets stronger if you upgrade it.

Edit: never mind, I didn't read that you want to use all the spell.

Awww man, so there are no weapon enchants that scale with both int/faith here? And pyromancy doesnt too...
I guess I will be just a boring mage or a cleric

I think the 2 versions of the greatsword of Artorias are the only things that scale with both int and faith int this game

If I remember correctly, there are rather signfiicant diminishing returns after 40 points.

Only the normal version of GoA truly does. Cursed has no magic damage, so although it says that it scales, there's nothing for it to actually scale with.

Yeah, only the GoA scales with both, and I found that weapon to be underwhelming. I did find a dark magic user to be overpowered (INT/STR).

The cursed one has no magic damage and gets no bonus damage from int and faith scaling? LMAO shows how much I used those things

Same... lol.
It also shows just how unfinished certain parts of the game are... what a pity.
