Sure. But you can already play DkS with decent graphics and 60 FPS on PC, you don't need the remaster for that. So many PC players will maybe not buy it.
I'm pretty sure that unless there is some huge technical error on From's part, the game will sell just fine and will have a healthy player base.
Its always been more active for all Souls releases.

Unless you don't care about online, keep that in mind.
I'd say, if you have powerful rig get PC version for 4K etc. If you don't and you own PS4 already, get console version.
And with an anti-cheat most likely being implemented, having less hackers that can penalise you is also nice to have. No need to make backups or anything.
PC however already has a version of the essentially same game, so people will think twice about buying it again, especially since it's apparently not much more than another DSFix. But really, just wait till it comes out.
