No way to get banned in this game, not even if you go all out with the cheats

I think I may actually just start a new save kill quelag and then soul dupe. Do sens fortress skip get giants armor and get all the other stuff for my build.

Up to you ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ just know there's no consequence if you want to respec with CE

Back in the day i used a character calculator, started a new character, beat the asylum and used a trainer to get a bunch of souls, and level up the character that i planned, so in less than a hour i was already testing my pvp builds.

In DS2 and 3 its really useful how they included the ability to respec.

Of course I have other issues with DS2 and 3 in regards to how they handle multiplayer but that's an entirely other conversation, lol.

There are penaltys if u respec with CE, u can get spoted by watchdog if u mess up and surpase the soul level u already got, it is best to creat a new character doing as mLga91 said, creat a new character. Altho u dont even need to beat asylum anymore if u have the Compilaton.CT, as u can teleport with that table and then create the character with the Tecnohacker table. http://fearlessrevolution.com/viewtopic.php?t=63 Download Dark Souls - Prepare To Die Edition.CT and Compilation.CT

If you respec with cheat engine, make ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN your stats match up with your soul level or you'll get booted by watchdog. Also make sure when you're changing stuff like health and stamina, you match the stats, as respeccing the stats doesn't automatically change them when you use CE to do it.

Better to get souls through CE then level up normally tbh.

Wouldn't recommend using CE before the end of the first playthrough though.

Not as bad as you might think. Watching a few speed runs, you can roll through a series of bosses in short order if you know your build path. Voila, souls up to your ears.
