Can't beat Sanctuary Guardian.

This thing is harder than O&S. It gives me no openings and it does attacks that do 50-75% of my health. The charge is near instant and my build relies on sunlight blade but it seems immune to lightning. I use sunlight blade and +10 falchion. Any tips?

Maybe your Vitality is very low, I dont remember Sanctuary Guardian to be so strong

What is a good SL for the DLC? I am SL59 and Vit 20. 30 fth and 23 dex and 20 end and the rest of the stats are somewhere else.

Kinda low Vitality, I would recomend going for 30 at least and level some Endurance to fast roll with decent armor

I beat him at SL 46 using only the dragon form and a grass cress shield. What I learned is to lock on to him always so when he does his headbutt combos you can roll left or right and dodge it. The times I attacked was when he either did his force wave move or his air charge thats when I did a jump attack.

Obobobo style xd, as for the weapons, it seems that Guardian is weak against bleed, so if u have a Uchi or a Iaito, Painting guardian sword or any weapon that inflicts bleed then use it

Mostly bleeding according to the wiki but I just beat the s h i t out of it with my dragon fist.

All bosses in the DLC are very resistant to all kinds of elemental damage, your best bet is to rely on pure physical damage, bring that falchion to +15 and try not to get hit. Or get at least 10 more levels in vitality, then you can afford to ♥♥♥♥ up a roll or two I guess, lol

I cant even hit the thing, every time I swing he either hits me which cancels my attack or he jumps away, the most hits Ive got on this guy is 4 and thats from the lightning spear, my main weapon is the Great Club but I also tried using a diff weapon since that takes a while to swing BUT THE LITTLE ♥♥♥♥ JUST GOT FASTER.

Decided to just cheese him with a bow, this was the only boss I died to (besides falling into the water at the hydra and the first encounter with the scaleless dragon)
