And yes, as valid as those points are, that's still an opinion, there are plenty of people that don't mind the new look, though I can't say to be one of them myself. When you play the same game over and over for almost a decade, even just a little change looks off.
It's hard to think of any good reason to insist on switching to PTDE, though. The only reason would be diving deeply into PVP -but there's hardly anyone to play with. At some point, they might give it away for free - that's the only way the situation could change.
Yeah, I'm very used to PTDE and it is a little "darker" - this being a reason for expensive switching seems pretty extreme
Remastered is objectively the best option for newcomers, though.
