How do I get to capra demon early without basement key

I saw a speed run that showed it but I forgot which speed run and I want to make a pyromancer build without activating the dragon.

Mage route will go down there for Griggs. Google "crapplemage", skip to undead burg, watch.

You can jump into Lower Undead Burg from that place with 3 hollows where the first fog you find in the game is located.

There's a way to reach it as soon as you arrive firelink, it requires a rather precise jump but if you do it right, you'll be in front of the capra demon's fog door

If you use the skip, you don't have to agro the dragon.

Go to Undead Burg, and at the part where there is the fog that would normally lead to the dragon, stop there and kill the hollows.

Next, stand where the one with the firebomb was, and have the camera angled so the stairs and the boss fog are on the left of your screen.

Now, run at the stairs, and try to only step on the lower portion of the small staircase. At the last moment, jump. If you do it right, you'll fall and land on the edge of the castle below and be able to go straight to Capra Demon. Good luck.

This has the shortcut you want. The save quit is not neccessary. I don't know why that person used it.

No. You can still do that. You can also cheese Sif in the same way if you have a bow.
