Can you summon after moonlight butterfly?

we just killed moonlight butterfly but not sif, now we want to continue playing the area around the Hyrdra etc, but we cant see eachothers summon signs now....

whats going on??

you can't summon there anymore
only the area after the crest door you can summon for sif

So we shouldn't of killed moonlight butterfly? damnn.... "dont summon for sif" well the whole point is we want to coop the entire game, and not do ANYTHING solo...

for the crest door, do we need to farm 20k or can we get around it and still summon somewhere in Basin?

you can take the ladder near the hydra to bypass the door :)

i tried that like 15 times in a row and the hyrdra always 1 hits me as i climb the ladder, tips?

and at the top of the ladder we can summon???

kill the hydra
and yeah you can summon whey you are fully at the top

because you can only summon if the boss is stil alive, and the arae by sif is considered a different area,

just accept the fact you have to kill hydra solo

You technically can coop Hydra even if Butterfly is defeated. Go close to the cliff (where you can find Eastern Set), and jump down in the really right corner. It will lead you to Darkroot Basin.

@Big Meech, Sif must be alive, so you and your buddy can just jump to Darkroot Basin. Here an example:
