Because it wouldn't be a smart business investment on Sony's behalf. The majority of people who play Dark Souls probably don't know what Demon's Souls is. It wouldn't sell well.

Sony payed for the production of Demon's Souls and Bloodborne so they decide where it will be released.

And it's only logical they would keep those games to their own console.

It's not on Steam because it hasn't been ported for the PC. Given that it's such an old game it is unlikely at this point.

You can buy it on a PS3 if you want to play it that badly, although in the long run it may end up on the PS4.

Honestly i'ed rather see this game remastered at 60 FPS with added content (the sixth archstone, unbroken!)
but sony doesn't give a damn, infact i'm not even sure bloodborne 2 is in development
(Because if it was, they would milk the $hit out of it in E3, but none... completely absent)

the souls experience would be incomplete without phantoms and invasions
i really hope they'll remaster this game one day, it was the game that started it all
