Tips with dual caestus run

What status should i focus on? Should i keep the modify with lighting or normal upgrading?

lightning/chaos infusion removes all scaling so if u want that you should just get the required stats. (5str / 8dex). If you want to go normal upgrade path you should go 40str / 40dex. I'd recommend lightning/chaos infusion and just level health cause you'll be dealing quite low damage

EDIT: oh you'll need endurance too for lots of stamina.

Either 2 normal with resins and 40/40, or a tank build with base str/dex and a mix of lightning and chaos.

There's still the entire beginning of the game to tackle without ample green titanite shards, meaning OP would have to fight and kill everything with base stats and a pair of +5 Caestuses.

I've done this run up until blighttown, where I was bored and frustrated with the whole thing. Pretty much, like with anything in this game, it takes patience.

You can speedrun to Vamos to get a fire weapon, but it doesn't help with Queelag.

Only worth it if you have enough souls to get the weapon(s) to +5 first. Would be wise to kill a couple of bosses first. Also, no doubt, also kill the titanite lizards in the Catacombs as well.
