My Dark Souls sound went really quiet for some reason.
I've tried turning my headphone volume, computer volume, and I can't find any audio settings in the options menu.

Okay so I found the sounds settings, and put them to max settings, it did nothing.

This is also the case with discord for some reason, people sound really quiet, and it can't be my computer because sound in other games sounds perfectly fine, it's just discord and dark souls.....

Had this same sort of issue, difference is that I had no sound for ds. Try updating your sound driver (best to look up a YouTube video for that).

Go to the sound mixer and check if sound bar is low. If it isn't, then I don't know a solution. https://imgur.com/a/RiOte

In your default audio device properties, go to the last tab and uncheck the boxes "Allow applications to take control of this device" and "Give exclusive mode something something to processes", and this shouldn't happen again
