Hollowed Griggs?

Logan disappeared, Griggs said he was going to follow him, so I reloaded the area, and he was still there. I cant get Griggs to go look for Logan. I tried going to Duke's Archives and rescued Logan there, talked to him, then went back to Griggs who sounded happy that Logan managed to get where he always wanted to go - but it doesn't seem like he's turning hollow? What is the trigger for this?

"Sen's Fortress: Upon buying all spells and rings from Griggs, when you return to the room where you pick up the Black Sorcerer Set, a hollowed Griggs will be there."

That should work. And by 'should' I mean "It WILL work, so long as you do it right, but there's always that little bit of disclaimer in case your game just doesn't like you or whatever and it doesn't work".

I've also had problems getting Griggs there on some of my chars.

THe black sorcerer set is down the stairs past the locked door, right? Or rather, ball trap, go up the stairs to the left drop down to the wooden planks and follow the hallway back and up the staircase, right? That area over there?

I remember reading in wiki that he's in where you found him, so I would try there first.

After killing him in Sen's Fortress, you can find him again in Lower Undead Burg.

Okay so I found my problem: I already had all his spells, but I didn't buy them from HIM. So now I have duplicates of all the spells he sold me, which is fairly annoying, because I had to spend all those extra souls for spells I already bought from his master. >_> Fairly annoying. Ah well.
