Need help + tips for Super-Ornstein (SOLVED)

Hello, I am a newbie and this is my first playthrough. I am stuck with this infamous bossfight and I want to know if there is any way to kill Ornstein easy or do more damage against his final form? Currently I use a Silver Knight Straight Sword+5 and Havel´s Armor + Ring.

I know that this fight gets a lot easier if you kill Smough last, but I want Ornstein´s Armor and Ring.
Solaire isn´t much helping against Super Pikachu, he gets owned in second phase everytime.
Some guide said that they are weak to fire but I find that I do more damage with the silver knight sword+5 than with Queelags sword+4. I also have a Balder Sidesword+10 and enough stuff to upgrade it but I dont know how to get back to Andre.

So if some of you expert players know a weakness to Super Pikachu please tell me.
I know that you can avoid most attacks when you´re standing close to him but he gets me everytime with the butt-smash.

My Skillpoints are: Vitality 11
Endurance 38
Dexterity 38
Strength 16
The Rest around 9-11

Should I farm more souls to get a decent health bar? It always felt like the bosses can one hit you anyway no matter what armor you wear or how high your health bar is.

Then maybe it's time to get rid of that armor and fastroll instead? You'll also be able to get out of the way of his buttslam much more quickly that way.
Silver knight sword +5 is basically an endgame weapon so you're good damage-wise. Stay between his legs and watch out for that buttslam and you'll win eventually.

-11 vitality is awful low. That's why they 1 shot you.
-Silver knight sword is good enough.
-Dont forget that Quelaag's Fury Sword gets damage bonus from active humanities.
-Try fast roll.
-Equip thunder stoneplate ring for lightning resist(you can buy it in sen's fortress from the merchant, you can fly back with the flying bat-like creature)
-You probably have gargoyle shield. It has decent stability, enough physical and good lightning reduction. Good alternative is the Wooden Shield.

Wow, I didn´t know that you could fly back, I thought you were supposed to be stuck in Anor Londo and then get the Lordvessel to come back. Thank you!

For future reference, you can never get stuck somewhere in this game, there's always a way out

I´ll also try the fast roll again, the reason I am wearing Havel´s Armor (medium roll) is that I feel it helps me to survive the first phase a little bit better. Thanks for the advise :-)

you can always summon someone other than Solaire to help you

How? I tried to summon other players many times but it worked only once and on top of that I rarely see summon signs at all, which is understandable for a game that is 6 years old. Are there other Npcs I can summon for this fight? Also how do I get more Humanity in Anor Londo? I hate pvp in general so that option isn´t for me.

Read the pinned thread on DSCM. It helps connectivity. You can get humanity by putting down your white sign soapstone and helping the host defeat his/her own boss. Then with the humanity you recieve you can become human and summon others.
You can farm humanity in the Depths from rats.

I've got a couple of characters so i might be able to help you out if you add me, otherwise i'd agree with the other users.
Only way to deal with the butt slams is rolling out of there, make sure you don't attack too early before you know what he's going to do (that's the main reason i get caught out).

Follow up - if you are low on humanity then find a place to farm rats. There is a place in the sewers near the bonfire with 5 rats or a place in undead burg with 3. Equip everything that increases item discovery and spend a while farming for loot.

Once you start getting humanity i'd recommend using them to help you farm more as item discovery increases with your soft humanity.

I finally did it, my heart is still pumping like hell, my hands are shivering but i made it through and killed that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Thanks for the help, I went back to the moss lady and bought fire resin, since then the fight was a lot easier.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, 11 Vit? No wonder you are getting one shot.

At 20-30 vit, you can take more hits. Definitely level that up, pronto!

Also, fight big Ornstein without locking onto him, and stay right under his feet. You'll have an easier time dodging his attacks, and you can bait him into doing his lightning butt slam to run away and then back in for an easy hit.
