Which could potentially make Kaathe's intentions more clear, to bring about an age of dark, like how things used to be before the age of fire, when dragons ruled. A piece of his dialog also stood out to me, which could hint at this theory (the dialog after you place the lord vessel at the altar for him):
"Very well.
Once the vessel is filled with souls, the gate to Gwyn shall open.
Seek Gravelord Nito, the Witch of Izalith, and the traitor Seath the Scaleless."
I just always found it weird as to why he would point out that he was a traitor.
I stopped to care about lore or explenations on both Serpents as nothing suits them, in my opinion. I prefer them as they were and are, misterious creaters without any backstory.
I sometimes wonder, what other Serpents(as seen in "dark" ending) are doing and where they are. Are they plotting to use another doll to do their will in different land or just sleep somewhere?
