Please skip DS2 and DS3, just keep playing DS1!
You might want to consider DeS on ps3 and BB on ps4, those are the only games in the franchise that give you the same atmosphere, while DS1 being the superior game, still.
It's addicting because it's a good game, which also has lots of replayability. Usually games have only one of these perks.
Don't listen to people telling you to skip DS2 and DS3. If you like DS1 so much, you should at least try the other ones. You might even like them more than DS1.
