Tranquil Walk of Peace PvP
Hey guys, doing a miracle build for the first time in DS1 and was wondering what is the proper etiquette in the community to when to use this spell because I don't use it in honor duels. However if I invade as a darkmoon I have no sympathy on sinners and use TWoP and then spam WotG. The way I see it. Red eye Invaders use any tactics in their means 95% of the time to try and kill you. Also if I get invaded I use it. Especially in the gank fest forest. Is this tactic frowned upon or do most people just see it as fair game?

Yes it's frowned upon. It's considered broken. That said, you should still play the game as you want to.

Somebody gotta do it, play as you please. It is a fair game I frown upon but I wouldn't have learned things if they didn't get used - so PILE IT ON!

In general, everyone follows their own 'code' when it comes to invasions / fighting, and what is considered an honorable duel vs what is considered a 'anything goes' situation.

In general you won't be getting any respect from the honorbound people with these tactics but as long as you're not cheating, anything goes - then again, expect to get wrecked by any person who can counter that strategy and you invade them a second time, and don't be salty about whatever means the opponent uses to deal with you.

Unless you're "dead-angling" the WotG or whatever you'd call that super busted ass ♥♥♥♥, it's very unlikely that a skilled player will sit there and take all that damage.... yeah... I'm thinking anyone with a Crest Shield who knows WotG's hitbox can block that damage pretty well... or counter with their own WotG :D

The way I see it, if a person PvP's they should know how to counter it. They could easily just stay away from me until it runs out. Like you said if they are skilled they will know how to counter it. I can only invade people who PvP being a Darkmoon so I can then assume they have experience with PvP. So I see it as fair game.

TwoP is fun too because you pretty much know right away what your opponent is going to attempt to do, knowing they're going to be charging right at you with no defensive thought in the world.

Just use whatever you want. You will realize that the majority of the players play "dirty". One spams dark magic, one dead angles and ghost hits, one spams wotg, one chain backstabs, one lagstabs, one backstab fishes. Your Twop+Wotg combo is really not a deadly sin. Use lightning spears to be classy, lol.
And everyone has his her own opinion about what fair is. I love how i get hate messages for using great magic barrier against an int build. Like they expect you not to use it for some reason.
Even if you play completely fair and you are a fki ng humble knight, people will b itch about how you defeated them. That s just ds salt. Dont give a cr@p about anyone. They wont either. And don t forget to point down on them. That is ACKCHYUALLY a really nice gesture to congratulate your opponent on how well he performed. Like I see everyone use it for some reason. So I must be a really good player.
