The Manus catalyst is like a stronger crystal catalyst as they both cut spells by half. So the catalyst is good due to the fact that is stronger plus the spells or you can get pursuers which are a single very strong spell but you will be stuck with a weaker catalyst. Its a tradeoff I guess.
I'm aiming for 30/40 str-int. Possibly more in either if I haven't hit the soul meta cap by then. I'm not particularly looking to maximize damage, because dark sorcery in general is somewhat OP to begin with.
Both. I want both items by the time I'm done with this build but I'm asking what should I choose if I had to make a choice between the two now.
I'm holding on to the titanite demon halberd and the moonlight horn at the moment for melee damage.
And have both but what i probably pick persuer first for just 1 reason. It make everyone go back/nervous enought to hit them with anything else. How the ♥♥♥♥ can follow you is kind of annoying too.
I might take a break from that character tho to work on my reaper build.
I tried it on a twink but could never commit to it because the weight req
/e wish catalysts had casting speeds built in like the other games otherwise sorceries might actually be universally good here
I appreciate it. I'm not online at the moment cuz classes, but I'll gladly help you out with anything in return should you need anything.
And yeah, dark souls 2 handled that well with individual fast speeds. 3 was meh with it, although you could just do a twink run to access the sage ring +2 early.
