Prolly still roaming around down there...Dead but still loking...
Oh yeeeah. That does make more sense than him going to the Demon Ruins and such. May have heard about her escape and roaming of Blighttown.
you two forgot one thing about his flame though
unless you're a pyromancer (as in the class),he gives you his flame, meaning he shouldn't have one in Blighttown to begin with
so how did he get another flame then,as Einygi can also give you his flame,so he didn't give it to Laurentius, and theres only two other known pyromancers who could of gave him a flame, one of which is a chaos demon resembling a spider, and the other,Quelaana,is wandering Blighttown for unknown reasons, though likely to try and comfort The Fair Lady and possibly Quelaag as well
and why would The Fair Lady, who can't even speak to him, give him a flame for no reason?
Quelaana might of given him a flame as a way to train him or just to replace his missing flame,as he's clearly a pyromancer who knows what he's doing, but lacks a flame, and i'm fairly certain that one of the Daughters of Chaos, especially "the mother of pyromancy",would be able to make a pyromancy flame for another or themselves
whos to say he didn't find Quelaana, but lost purpose/hope upon her refusing to train him or went mad upon teaching him her pyromancies?
He is a Pyromancer of the great swamp, we would think it would be simple to get many as they are in tune with their inner flame. Only reason you get 1 as a Pyro, may mean you are not as in tune with the arts of the fire within one's self. From what we gather.
Also believe if you got a flame from him, and aggroed him, he would use pyro. That was solidify things indeed. But have not tried as recent as we can remember.
Possible he could have muoltiple. But then what when you lose them all? Again back to believing pyromancers can have as many as they desier so long as they can use fire so well.
Variables, possibilities.
I assumed he wasnt on that level metaphorical or maybe even literaly with his flames power, and the depression/frustration of trying/failing/getting lost along with the swamp being terrible in gen caused him to lose his last bit of hope and go hollow. Not to mention he goes from being in the camp to being stuck alone again in the swamp.
I also always assumed hollowing wasnt directly caused by deaht/physical traume but rather the emotional/mental aspect. This would explain why certain charcters can die repeatedly befor going hollow, others only once, and some have certain "breaking events" that trigger it.
We believe the same with Hollowing. The flame can still be as well, in part due to even hollow mobs having flames in their eye sockets. So they do keep some in there.
Could be seeing her and he not would depend simply on the level of flame by the weilder. So if you see her, does not mean he can. Simply due to your flame having outleveled his own, and you hold your own as apart of you now.
You can light multiple candles without diminishing the first candle's flame.
...However, some candles simply burn brighter than others.
The reason the player character can't make another pyromancy flame is that, basically, they have no one they have any desire to share it with.
...Incidentally, sharing a pyromancy flame is actually fairly intimate.
in case you missed it: he asks you about it (after you met Quelana or received the chaos daughter joining gift) - and when you say "yes" that's what makes him go down there
