<25% equip load and mid rolling
Hey guys. I've never experienced this, but I'm at 13.0/52.0 and am mid roll. Whenever I dress down it doesn't make me fast roll until I'm completely naked. Has anyone experienced this before? What's the deal?

The only thing that happened to me is that I dressed down and immediately tried to roll. Since the game needs a few seconds to adjust the difference it's possible that you actually meet the requirements but still have a mid-roll. I don't know if that fits to what you've experienced but it's the only thing that comes to my mind.

Well, 13/52 isn't <25%.
It's exactly at 25%.

Try being very slightly lighter (or increase your weight carry slightly).

Haha. Yeah no, 2900 hours in, I wouldn't make that mistake.

Turns out I *may* have just discovered a bug. Tattered Cloth Hood has a display weight of 1.1, and your stats will reflect that. But I also know that many hats in the game weigh exactly 1.2. Thief Mask, Brigand Hood, Pharis' Hat, etc.

I swapped my 1.6 weight gloves for 1.5 weight ones and the 1.1 weight hood for a 1.2 weight hood and was able to fast roll. I would make the determination that the Tattered Cloth Hood(and the Hollow Thief's Hood, just checked) have incorrect display data.
Have discovered another bug today. I killed Jeremiah but his set didn't spawn at Priscilla's boss room. Also, that Titanite Demon doesn't spawn in the Izalith shortcut doesn't spawn again until I move to different parts of the game world.

That's interesting. I also had the "midroll at 25%" situation a few times early game. I must have used the Hood in these cases.

Staying at the exact 25 % and at 25.01 % is different.
Just 0.01% can make you mid roll

Well, you need to go through a loading screen for almost everything.
Like, npcs to leave and items to appear.
But the titanite demon, i didn't know, always used homeward bone. If you kill it and go to any bonfire near Demon ruins, it'll respawn without a loading screen?

Those happened to me before. The titanite demon's case, at least, is well known though.

Did you really just say that?

The equip load % rounds to the nearest tenth in calculation. Besides that, you're implying that every item in the game has an irrational number(look that term up before you get butthurt) for equip weight instead of what it is displayed as. Just as well, if what you're saying is true, when one equips 1.1 + 2.7 + 1.6 + 1.6, the result is going to display as over 13.

Also, the actual equip load difference between 25% of 52 and 25.01% of 52 is 0.0052 equip load weight. This makes your implication even more convoluted.

Stay in school bro.

Wait a second.
I've put a 0 where it doesn't belongs, there aren't any item with 4 weight digits, sorry

Maybe you have >99 of something equipped. Like a thousand divine blessings.
nomoreblues Apr 14, 2017 @ 3:32am
I love that elementary schoolyard feeling
nulle Apr 14, 2017 @ 3:34am
:^)

In all seriousness though. I had replaced some item and failed to notice I had 99 of them and that was what was weighing me down.

It would display my equip load as a different number. This is an oversight in coding
