Strange problem: Can't plunge attack Taurus Demon

It's been an issue recently - on two separated characters with two different weapon types, whenever I plunge attack the Taurus Demon, I just kinda go straight through him.

Like, I should land on his face... but I just kinda ghost through him.

He takes damage from it, but not plunge attacks damage, and then I take falling damage which I'm supposed to be avoiding.

Sometimes I can nail it, but most of the time I can't.

I don't think I'm using the framerate uncapper...

This has happened to me many times before. I think it's because the margin for it to work is very small, like I mean it works when I land right at the centre of his face, if it's even a small distance off from the mark it almost always fails for me.
So I guess you just have to nail it spot on, simple as that

Are you playing at 60 fps? It shortens jumping distance (even when dropping off ledges)

I'm pretty sure I'm not using the uncapper though, mostly because I can barely run the game at 30 FPS as it is, lol
