You need to equip small/medium/certain types of weapons to parry.
After you parry, use your normal attack( the weak one ) to riposte :D
Parry in PvE is easy, but in PvP you need to parry before an animation, it's hard but after sometime you'll understand.
Just need more practice.... (on heavy armor for more comfort)..
Same for pvp ... Sl125 + "help me carving" to ask people about training session.
Many people hit R1/RT immediately after they hit L1/LT. This causes a normal attack to be queued up instead. Watch your enemy as they react to being parried... during their "BWAAOOH CRAP" period, press the R1 button. Right up on them.
