Can Someone Remind Me...
Why, exactly, does Lautrec have it out for firekeepers? Is it just like Patches thing where they never explain it or does the Goddess of Favor have a hard-on for Sunny-D Enhancers?

Lautrec background has a lot of plot holes. The official history is that he wanted the fire keeper soul. For what? I don't know. But the weird thing is that if he is a "fire keeper Hunter", why he didn't killed the Darkmoon Knightess in Anor Londo?

Hmmm. That's true. He was able to get there... But, maybe he didn't feel capable at taking on all the Darkmoons.

Hmmm. That's true. He was able to get there... But, maybe he didn't feel capable at taking on all the Darkmoons.

Because he is outside of Gwynevere room, I think he is allied with the gods. Also he killed Anastacia after you ring the two bells. Maybe he just want to delay your arrival to Anor Londo.

This is something that doesn't fit, because if Gwynevere wanted to give the Lordvessel to the Chosen Undead, why you have in your way Lautrec & Friends, Pikachu and Snorlax?

Theory I heard:
1.All firekeepers need a lot of souls to exist,
SPOILER ALERT*Kirk hunt for the spider lady* SPOILER END,
Anastasia get a lot of souls thanks to visitors to fire link shrine, and almost no1 is able to reach Anor londo, so Darkmoon lady is in the worst situation.
2.Lautrec have feelings for Darkmoon lady
3.He try to save her so he do what he can to achieve this.
Of course there are holes like why do we met him at the end of Anor londo

He was hot for that humanity baby.

There's a chance his religion had something to do with it but to Lautrec-bro, humanity was always the hottest commodity and he'd hit it off with any nubile young lady just for the chance to suck it out of them. And none have as much as those that tend to that hot fire, which hundreds of undead toss their humanity into every day. These kinds of ladies get nice and thicc with it.

He is invaded in Dark Anor Londo, so he killed the illusion of Gwynevere. He can't be allied with gds of Anor Londo. At least, he's not aligned with Gwyndolin but he is known to be "embraced" by Fina.

Thw Darkmoon Knightness is aggroed by the world's master if he messes with Gwyndolin so Lautrec probably didn't have feelings for her. And he could just spend the Anastacia's soul for upgrading his estus flask instead of carrying it.
