Can i still upgrade after Andre is dead

I accidently killed Andre and i want to upgrade my Uchigatana to +10. Is it still possible?

You can upgrade your weapons with any other blacksmith. What you can't is upgrade it from +5 to +6, or from +10 to +11, or any other upgrade that you need a special ember for and only Andre can use some of the embers

Can't i bring him anyway back i wanted to upgrade my Uchigana and its on +5 and i dont know how i should do that without him

You're going to have to wait til you go to NG+ for him to respawn, sorry!

Or if you'd trust an internet stranger and be willing to game the system a bit you could give your uchi to someone else, have them upgrade it once and give it back to you. I could do that, we'd just have to organize a little red sign soapstone invading. If you're up for it, just message me or something.

If you don't wanna "cheat" at all just get a weapon that upgrades with twinkling titanite or a boss soul weapon. These are just as strong and don't require Andre to be fully upgraded.
