just want to get back to your bonefire and dont care about the souls, so dont want to waste a bone. can be quicker then finding a mob to kill you
You can use darksign to, for example: wanna get your souls, but somehow you get stuck somewhere, you have no homeward bones whatsoever and darksign is the only escape, you use it without losing your previous bloodstain, as darksign deaths don't leave one.
You obviously didn't read it at all then.
"The Darksign signifies an accursed Undead.
Those branded with it are reborn after death,
but will one day lose their mind and go Hollow.
Death triggers the Darksign,
which returns its bearer to the last bonfire
rested at, but at the cost of all humanity and souls."
If you can't read. Don't blame the game. Blame yourself for being an idiot.
How unbelievable is it that I would misinterpret the description between blood stain or no blood stain? I just feel a little jipped because something happened that I didn't expect.
God forbid a newbie asks questions. ♥♥♥♥ bois like you would just rip em for not knowing.
OP is right here - the additional more or less possibilities it offers cannot be understood by reading alone.
But also that's what this game is loved for. Like, in the beginning you see these bones in a shop and shake your head "why would you wanna spend your precious souls on that?" and some days later you learn that you wanna stock these up

I was a little disheartened, but I learned it in the Parish, like you, so it wasn't really a hard loss to take in the big picture.
