Top 5 Soulsborne Waifus.
No ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥t, let's get straight to the point. Any female character (or male, if you swing Andre's way, or trans...if you're a Darkmoon Blade ) who just makes your heart melt when you talk to em, from any series.

Also, hybrid doodle thread.



5: Maiden in Black (DeS): For a blinded girl keeping the world's Eldritch Abomination at bay, she sure is a sweetheart.

4: Ornifex the Crow (DkS2): She lives "just down the road", and though you gotta walk a ways just to do some fine smithin' action with her, it's usually worth the sneak peek at her pum-pa-rum. Sorry, I'll go delete myself now.

3: Priscilla the Crossbread (DkS1): She may not exactly be honest about her neighboring captives, but her big fluffy tail and overall unwillingness to kill the Chosen Undead makes her a precious treasure. Or you can mercilessly one shot her with Dark Bead or Power Within, you monster.

2: Witch Karla (DkS3): Alright, I won't lie: her armor descriptions state she doesn't exactly smell great after years of imprisonment in the Irithyllian Dungeons, but she makes up for her hygiene deprivation with undeniable charm whenever you talk to her, and she seems to be one of the only NPC's throughout the series who genuinely *cares* about the Chosen and what they do.

1: The Doll/Lady Maria (BB): When you first gave the Doll the hairpin and she cried a tear of joy that was unknown to even happen, it made players everywhere fall in love with the Doll even more so than crotchety old Gerhman. But then when you walk into the Clocktower and there's the Doll again, except moving faster-than-the-eye-can-see and visceral-murdering you in an intimate display of violence, one could only become madly obsessed with defeating this pale wonder, and ultimately restoring their Doll to their former state.

Now, time for the serious answer. Because of my limited experience with, and knowledge of, Bloodborne, I won't list any characters from there yet, even though I can already tell I like the Doll.

5) Gwyndolin. Yes. The cute puppetmaster behind the scenes. The apparent unloved child. The moon in a world where everyone's obsessed with the sun. And the one person who seemed to stand up for their family no matter how much said family abandoned them.

4) Spiderwaifus (The Fair Lady; Quelaag's cut content apparent cut content]) (Dark Souls). As a person who has a sibling I managed to, through some difficulties, get along with, the 'tragedy' that happens in terms of that covenant even becoming available actually speaks to me. Also, Quelaag's lines, if they weren't just randomly assigned by the person when making that video, should speak to every person masochistic enough to play Dark Souls.

3) Yuria the Witch and any of her 'descendands (Demon's Souls) : They all look cute, they all can provide immense help, and they all seem to try and do so whenever possible. Yuria wins out on the basis of being the first, as well as being the only character in Demon's Souls seriously challenging the first waifu for my sympathy.

2) Crossbreed Priscilla. She's just dang cute.

1) Maiden in Black (Demon's Souls). She's the one who started it all. She's the one that strikes you the hardest with the 'D'awww' and 'Oh gosh, that's so sad' effect. She's the one you can't ever hope to achieve a happy ending without, and the one you have to give up for the world to have any hope.

Having played just DS 1 and Demons' Souls about half way... I can only throw stuff from those 2, so...

#1 is definitely the Maiden in Black. That is one of the best feminine presences in videogame history.

#2 is definitely Priscilla. For obvious reasons.

#3 is Quelaag's sister.

after that things get blurry for me, but it's ironic that I'd never include the amazing chest ahead in my top 5.

Queelag: love-hate relashionship, I love the fight, the story and the estetics, but I end up killing her everytime, cause... well I have no choice
Beatrix: I just like witches
Quelana: really cool character, from the voice acting, to the dialoges, to the background story and the help she gives us (and I said I like witches :D)
Anastacia: I don't really know why, but I really like her
Rhea: I love faith builds, how can't I love the frail and tender girl who sell them? (also ♥♥♥♥ you Petrus)

Amazing Chests don't count as waifu material unless your waifu in question has got both qualities. Which, technically, I should probably include Rosaria from DkS3: tongues for the tongue goddess!

Haven't played enough to have 5 yet, but... Laurentius of the Great Swamp (Dark Souls 1) - when he says that the flame he gave me is a part of his being and asks me to take care of it, I just... *blushes*
That kind of earnestness and vulnerability is pretty endearing.
