Don't bother with 50 faith--30 is enough. If you need more damage you can always rollswap your talisman to a pyromancy flame.
You can't buff a buff with a ring. If it's a sorcery buff you can extend its duration with the Lingering Dragoncrest Ring. Miracle buffs can't be enhanced by any means.
1)
- The sword is of course a nice piece for a 50 FTH build.
- Even with 30 FTH the OBGS with faith buff hits like a truck full of capra demons.
2)
Thank Gwyn, no ring improves damage of weapon buffs, only durations
3)
- FaP + Havel/Hornet.
- Firstborn ring mayube interesting for max. 50 FTH WotG cancer.
4)
- 20/16 are very tame STR and DEX requirements. Always full moveset for variety. People in those ranges are very able to parry your lame spams, if you don't mix it up.
- For PvP meta purposes get enough poise and fastroll.
Can you share your creation using mugenmonkey? Sounds interesting.
And stat points are not really optimal, because "needs and demand of fashion souls".
Original it was the "Golden Knight" build from some YT channel, revisited by "Kaz" and then copied and salvaged by me, after realizing "Server" (even DMB +3) didn't really cut it anymore.
Here is the underoptimized build, how he is right now:
ObsidianGS FTH Knight [mugenmonkey.com]
I am sure you are a smart fellow and can do better :)
VIT>50 for 2000HP+ (which lets you survive even Havelmom)
END >40 until you reach fastroll breakpoint (notice the free ring slot)
"Chaos Dagger" backstabs REALLY hurt. (especially with the Hornet ring)
"Dark Hand" is the lightest shield with decent parry frames and some blocking ability.
Now I have to find out how to roll swap the talisman with the pyro flame and find an armor to match my visual style.
Me too. Never played with a dragon weapon. But to farm the Obsidian....
Kalameet....
DAMN!

53 poise with favor + hornet rings on
378 def with 99 humanity
great combustion
1708 hp
thorn leggings on (to cancel backstabs)
What more do You need ? XD
In short, good build, but not what I'm looking for.
Thanks!
These are the only rings I personally feel like using:
01. Chlorianthy, all around
02. Havel, all around but probably overkill on this build
03. Steel, defenses over 9000
04. Red tearstone, shenanigans?
05. Slumbering dragoncrest + Ring of fog, only for this particular combo in PvE zones.
06. Wolf ring for poise-through 2h attacks, e.g. unstoppable explosion of flavor
07. Hornet ring, even though I don't really like parrying when I'm using heavy weapons.
08. DWGR, never a bad choice.
09. FAP ring, looks really interesting but I always feel like this ring is too PvP-focused.
10. EWGR, because more explosions!
Have you guys tried the steel ring? Is it worth the slot as opposted to, let's say, havel ring and heavier armor?
