Man Serpent GS appreciation thread.

Lemme just say I am apalled I did not use the Man-Serpent GS sooner. I don't even have it fully upgraded and at 40 str, it does ridiculous physical damage, with a nice moveset, and buffed with dragonroar it even reaches base swing damage of my Demon GM. No wonder it's so popular.

Also, I got a Titanite Slab on my first run through New Londo. I'd say my day is going great now.

Why I'm in love with the MSGS:

- That sexy "S" scaling in STR
- The looks. And modded is even more beautiful.
- You can buff it.
- That high poise damage of the two handed strong attack. You can stop a train with it.
- The running anti-gank attack.

Just a question.... i wnat to do a run with a limit of 50 deaths. i wanted to do a hybrid INT/STR.... is the magic/Enchanted man-serpent greatsword (even with a spell) good ?

No S-scaling, it starts with a B and then gets an A from +11 onwards.

You're probably better off with getting the Man Sword to +15 and then use a weapon buff on it instead of taking it down one of the magic-based upgrade paths.

Definitely use your spells, they have a lot more damage potential. At the beginning of the game the resins are fine but when you have a high enough Intelligence stat for the good catalysts, they can't compete anymore.
