Best Greataxe?
I'm planning on doing a Berserker run after beating the game once I beat it the first time, and I want to know which greataxe I should use for that run. Any suggestions?

PS: This will be on PS3, not Steam, if that matters.

Black Knight GA (watch the stats need some dex too)

Greataxe, Golemaxe good to have too

Black Knight Greataxe is fast and packs a bunch.

The Demon Great Axe has a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of raw damage and is outstanding if used on the crystal path.

The Golem Axe is a fun little weapon, but pretty heavy.

The Greataxe is slow and lacks damage.

Golem Axe is technically a regular axe though, isn't it?

Black Knight Greataxe for quick swings and occasional hit for massive damage. Its basic damage is reduced but it still has high damage potential on cartain attacks.

Demon Greataxe for the kick (and by that I mean attack power).

You CAN also do a buffer build for a Dragon King Greataxe but that may be more trouble than it is worth.

If u start and play legit BKGA is hard to get (u can "farm" it at the end of ng tho)

Maybe start with battle axe > great axe

BKGA

Hard to farm but not impossible. 10 humanity, gold serpent ring and symbol of avarice and that's it. You pay a visit to the BK that dwells in the catacombs and with a bit of luck the axe is yours.

But beware, for PvP sucks.
While the Black Knight sounds good, it sounds too much like a gamble for me. Honestly, the Greataxe and Demon's Greataxe are what I'm eyeing.

A gamble...yes, it is XD

But what make the BKGA one of a kind its the moveset. It doesn't has the recovery time of every axe. It's more like a greatsword, fast and fluid. You should give it a try.

that's the way to go - should u get the BKGA ou can still check that out
Forgot to mention that my starting class is going to be the bandit, both so I can I can get use to two-handing a axe and because I'm a Fire Emblem nerd.

Demon Greataxe. That one-handed sweep R2 is HILARIOUS.

People with more than 52 poise won't really care.

What's your point?

That amount of poise is very common, and takes away all the hilarity.

Mmmm, no. Not that I've run into. Exactly one guy in the last two weeks who ran with more than 50 poise, or poise at all even. Otherwise it's mostly been turtles that get wind up getting dead angled or ghost struck by the sweep and its followup.

Anecdotal evidence. Statistically speaking, 53 poise, 61 poise, and 76 poise are very common breakpoints used in PvP. For PvE, you can use whatever the hell you want.
