Use it if you want to make custom checkpoints. Quit to main menu to save the game, make a checkpoint, then reload save. Whenever you die, quit to main menu, restore desired checkpoint, and you will appear where you saved, with everything you did intact.

I use gamesave manager for years and it does the same thing for ALL you games not just Dark Souls and it scans your computer for all your games. it Evens upload it to your cloud. Just putting another safe option out there :)

Hey ive been using Gamesave manager for 2 years now and it works fine. Never heard of speedsoul but i guess its the same principle but only for 1 game not All games.
