Question about Sif's Alternate Cutscene after Artorias
If you walk into Sif's room but don't kill him you won't get the alternate cutscene will you? You have to walk in for the first time after Artorias dies?

My gf walked in and got the original cutscene from beggining the fight.

You have to save him as a puppy in the DLC to get that cutscene.

Oh ok, for some reason I was under the impression you just had to kill Artorias. Still my original question remains, if I triggered his first cutscene but didn't actually kill him, can I still trigger the alternate cutscene?

No, you already triggered a cutscene the fight will start as soon as you re enter the fog door.

as I know if you started a cutscene of sif when you next visit him you can not get another cutscene. by the way, If you want to save baby sif you have to kill artorias.

Don't summon him for Manus, he is nearly useless and doesn't even keep aggro. He'll just buff the boss and barely get any hits on Manus either.

Sif actually helps if this is the first playthrough. He can keep the aggro, at least he did for me. The difficult part is to survive long enough to be able to summon him.

true that he's no big help but if u struggle with beating Manus he can buy you some time to heal like a trusty tank, he is much more useful than beatrice with the kings imo
