What's the nearest bonfire to Bed of Chao?

I am currently starting at the bonfire just before Centipede Demon. But it feels like I need to run through half the Dark Souls map everytime.

well just so you know, there was a seond bonfire inside one of the shrines (behind an illusionary wall), in the lava pool filled with walking dragon legs

Thnx. I get like a 10 sec long freeze every minute too, so the whole place was a chore.

But to be honest Bed of chaos wasn't THAT bad. It was a long way there but From was generous enough to make the roots permanent.

But if they actually respawned after you died, I would've hurt myself and stopped with the DS series forever.
