I still need advice on getting Red tear stone ring early

I've seen people get it early the enemies don't react to me like they did in videos.
They managed to get the drakes to stand still and shoot lightning but when I try that they do the flying lightning shot.

This is another thing but how can I get the power within early?

Just run past them. What attack on enemy does depends on your posistion, such as how far away you are or if your behind them, etc. If your a medium distance they'll do the lighting attack.

Power Within is so, so much harder to get early on than the red tearstone ring. Possible, but really hard.

Ok I used my souls on leveling up and dropped my 95 souls so I can not worry about losing souls getting this ring and possibly the spell power within.

Dang I got the ring! I guess next is the zweihander ( I can get that easily ) or the spell

So I got the zweihander, spider shield, red tear stone ring and crimson set. Good build for pyro? Should I even bother to obtain power within early? Is jumping off the ledge with red tearstone ring effect with Zweihander coated with thunder reisen enough to one shot the Taurus Demon?

You could go with Power Within early like I did on my SL1 character, but be prepared to fall of ledges and/or get cornered by ghouls, or just get stomped on by the weird blight creature thingy.

I just threw chaos fire balls at the creature from above. It died in two of them.

You can't stop for more than a second once you start running past them. Their lightning attacks have very bad tracking, use that to your advantage.
