Can't beat second boss
It would be much easier to beat him if I had a save point just before him. (The dragon-like creature on the walls)
Am I missing something? What is the strategy?

You mean the drake that shoots fire on the bridge?

Yes, strategy is, don't kill him, yet. If you are talking about that huge Red Dragon, you don't have to kill him and you probably won't unless you have a lot of time (and arrows) lol.

just pass him and kill him later

Lol you thought it was a boss... bosses have health bars and fog gates, mate.

It is called the Taurus Demon.

Dragon-like....? Goodness, is your resolution really low or something?

The strategy is to not get hit. How you achieve that is a matter of skill/patience. There is also a ladder in the start of the boss arena that should provide you a hint as to what to do.
If you buy the Residence Key (or have the Master Key starting gift) you can open a door in the burg to get some gold pine resin. It temporarily adds lightning damage to your weapon, and does a number on the Taurus Demon. You only get 3 at this point though so use it wisely.

The big red drake by the bridge is a mandatory boss keep fighting him until you get him he drops one of the best weapons in the game.

They're fighting Taurus Demon, and someone already said Hellkite isn't a boss. The game's already hard enough, you don't need to try and trick them.

Tricking newbies is good isn't it?

When the internet exists, there really isn't much point to.

Hmm. Well, he's good at tricking people into really stupid debates. They usually turn out with both sides looking extremely dumb, and most of the time it is a spectacle of stupidity for others to see.

If someone ends up believing him about upgrading the Drake Sword to +15 or that its the best weapon in the game, that's just plain hilarious - it's not really intended to harm their playthrough or experience. :p
